Concrete Repair & Resurfacing
Concrete Repair & Resurfacing
If your existing concrete surface has seen better days then don’t hesitate to give us a call. We don’t want to sound too alarming if you will. Concrete though tends to be like many other surfaces and objects. In that, if you allow problems to develop without taking steps to remedy them they can turn into major threats for the surface as a whole. Again, that doesn’t mean that you have to give us a call after any small crack starts to form. Just make sure that you understand that keeping tabs on the area can go a long way in keeping the surface looking great and potentially saving you some cash.
Get The Surface Inspected
Inspecting the area is the first step in any concrete surface repair. If you call a concrete company and they guarantee you over the phone that your concrete surface can be resurfaced you probably want to hang up on the spot. Not all concrete surfaces are going to benefit from the same types of repairs. The only way that we’re going to really know what your concrete surface can benefit from is through an inspection. We offer free estimates, so don’t be shy about giving us a call.
When Is It A Good Idea To Make Repairs To A Concrete Surface?
There are a couple of clear signs that you’ll start to notice when you have a concrete issue. Obviously, cracks are the main one that people talk about. The size and depth of the crack itself can certainly play a role in determining the severity of the problem. There are other signs though that you shouldn’t ignore. Like inexplicable puddles in the middle of a concrete surface. If the ground seems to be bubbling up that’s also something that could be a cause for concern. It is a good idea to make the repairs in a timely fashion to make sure that things don’t get out of hand.
Is This Concrete Area Perfect For Resurfacing?
When we are providing a resurfacing procedure we need to make sure that there is essentially enough on the surface that is worth resurfacing. If for example, you have a concrete area that is filled with very deep cracks and all around problems then resurfacing isn’t exactly the procedure that we are going to be able to provide. We can look into other types of repairs for sure though.
How Many Extra Years Will A Resurfacing Procedure Add To The Existing Surface?
We’d love to say that it can very well be another decade, or so. What we don’t like to do though is give a very general answer to these types of questions. When it’s all set and done the answer to this question is going to depend on the specific surface that we are going to be working on. Now, we are not afraid to give you our estimate. We just need to get a chance to look at the surface first before we start making any promises.
